Finished this weekend. Found out on my 2020 Ram Limited w/ 12” premium sound system all I required was to remove the factory 8”sub and install the “plug and play” AmpPRO AP4-CH41. - nothing else. Period! Not the line out, ANC, or the APH-CH01 that attaches to the AP4-CH41. Crystal clear sound that is optimized through the AP4-CH41 and the settings on the aftermarket amplifier (Kicker). Thanks to Bruce at Frostbitebox, Crutchfield, this forum’s postings, and to Kicker. Never installed a system before. First time for this 47 year old going through mid-life crisis!

I’m building my own box with a similar design, can you by chance give me a dimension of the top of the box where your woofers mount? I’m trying to get a visual on how far my box will sick out from under the seat.

Where is the install point for the AmpPro AP4-CH41? I just so happen to own own one from a previous vehicle that I never installed... so I may have a weekend project as I have all the other hardware with the exception of the box which I an make happen.

It plugs in behind radios screen. But make sure you have the R.2 version or out may not work.

Thinking about this set up as well. How have you liked it so far? When the seat is down how much clearance are you left with from face of sub? I was worried when it travels there would be play to hit the seat and was wondering if the grills would fit over as an extra precaution if there was room underneath. Thank for the help, just got my 2021 Rebel and am trying to line up all the mods.

Ordered the dual 10” sub enclosure from Frostbite loaded with 2 10” kicker COMP R subs. Not sure if it was a manufacturer defect or shipping incident but once I installed I found the voice coils were damaged. Frostbite sent me 2 replacement subs and a return label for the old subs ASAP. Customer service seems to be top notch.

As for the box, I chose with black grey accents and it matches my interior perfectly. In-floor storage is still accessible and the box is almost completely hidden with the seats down. No need to raise the seats or make any modifications.

100% satisfied with the look, sound quality, and customer service.

I to would love to know where you got this from. My stereo shop ordered me a JBL box for 2 12s under the seat and it was very costly... and I didn't get to the amp or install yet.

So where is the factory Sub? I went looking for it the other day and I came up with nothing. And is it that bad? Can it be replaced with something better? this is nice! how many pennies?

Im going with the Fosgate DSR1 and dumping the factory amp altogether. this will let you get clean sig into the amps without a high to a low-level processor. Also it's a full DSP.
Running a CAB 2000.1 on 2 power acoustics 10 for now. Still waiting on parts.

The factory sub is behind the rear passenger seat, you will see a cut out in the carpet, far as I know, there is no replacement, it's a very specific type
