Front Camera

Does anyone know if there is a setting to automatically turn on the front camera when parking?? I have the 360 camera and front/rear parking sensors. Currently I just go into Controls/Surround Camera manually when parking but wasn’t sure if it can be automatically be set to pop on.

Don’t think so. If you switch to reverse for a second and then back to forward it will show the front camera if you have the delay set in the system. I have also set the camera button as one of the buttons across the bottom of the screen so I can get to it easily.

You can add 360 camera icon to home screen.

Digging up old conversation. This thread was for the old Uconnect. Has anyone figured out a way to get the front camera or surround camera to turn on when the front park sensor alarms?

On UC5 and with a 2023 BCM you can have ParkSense Base Cameras activation.

2025 with 360 camera have parksense camera activation as an option in the Uconnect safety amd driving assistance options. I really like it and was told it is a new option based on the all new electrical architecture for the 2025. The only annoying thing is mine will randomly turn itself off every so often and I had to go back into the menu and select it again.

I added the button to the top bar, next to the clock.
