Ford debuted their F150 diesel at the 2018 North American International Autoshow, putting out 250hp and 440lb ft of torque the numbers are slightly ahead of the outgoing EcoDiesel but slightly behind the "JL" Wrangler EcoDiesels numbers. The updated EcoDiesel in the Wrangler is rated at 260hp and 442lb ft of torque. I was honestly looking forward to the F150 diesel but in my personal opinion the fact that they are using a timing belt instead of a chain makes it a non starter for me.
