Was driving to work this morning and slowing down to merge when I went to accelerate and the truck acted like it was in Neutral. Drive was selected and the dash cluster was flashing shift to park even though I was going about 7-8 mph. Shifted into Neutral then back into drive and was fine but it freaked me out. Thankfully there wasn't anyone remotely close to coming up behind me. Has anyone had this happen before or know why this might have happened?

This has happened to me twice. Ironically, it happened at the exact same location both times; which almost thinks there may have been some radio, RADAR, or electrical interference that caused it. I have never been able to duplicate it on demand. I actually coasted over to the side of the road and went back to park - then drive. I never bothered reporting it to my dealer because no codes were stored and I knew they wouldn't be able to duplicate it. I just considered it a glitch....for now at least.

Hi @smashweights & @Billy James - If you decide to address this at all with your dealers, please be sure to let us know via private message. We are more than happy to connect you with a specialist for an additional layer of support for that process.

Well this just happened for the second time. Was about to turn right at an intersection, slowing down to turn probably nearly at a stop and the truck beeps, says, "shift to park"on the dash, and acted like it was in neutral when the drive selector was on drive. Stopped, shifted to park, shifted back into drive, drove on... Anyone else getting this issue intermittently?
