Hey team,

Haven’t posted much lately.

I’ve encountered what seems to be a QA issue but may be more wide spread as I inspect more trucks. (I see the onset of the tabs raising)

The exterior window trim is separating from my rear doors at the B pillar. This is on both doors and it appears the window trim tabs have broken.

Not sure what this could be caused by but I recommend you all look at yours.

I went to my local dealer and I have to come back tomorrow morning to have the manager look to “send it up” for repair approval. More to follow...

They are held on by 3M double stick tape which fails on the side that attaches to the plastic trim. had 3 of mine replaced at the dealer, and they failed again. Went down to autozone and got some 3M emblem/molding glue and glued them down. Used some soft jaw bar clamps to hold them down while the glue cured.

My Right Rear door window on the right side is pealing.
I glued it.
I don't want the dealer screwing with the truck on simple fixes. A few hours later I found your post. LOL
They just use too much plastics today. How are these trucks going to hold up?
