This thread is long, so half way through it I just went to the last page. I just bought a used 1500 Bighorn and traded in my 3500 Cummins. while parked in front of my brothers, a carpet installer noticed my Ram and commented about the exhaust issue, and his was repaired several times under warranty. So doing my research after purchasing the Ram, I came across this thread. The reason I didn't read it all is the because of the same symptom and same response from the dealers, over and over again. My 2020 Ram 1500 4X4 5.7 Hemi (Not the eTorque version) has only 29K miles and sounds just fine, no ticking or odd noises, but it disturbs me to hear that FCA hasn't come up with a permanent fix for this. It seems like a set of headers are in my future. I did get a 7 year 75K Max care from FCA so costs will be minimal if I get the leaks. A video was posted early in this thread with the cracks shown after replacement, and they seem to crack in the same place. Is there any updates with the exhaust system, or does FCA careless about it? I had to go through 20K miles, after FCA issued a recall on my Cummins HO HPFP, waiting for the fix. That got me thinking if I sell my old 5ver, I won't need the 3500 anyway, and thought about a 1500 Hemi. OUT OF THE FRYING PAN, INTO THE FIRE.
