Exhaust Manifold Cracked

Add my 2021 to the list. Both manifolds cracked at 33,000 miles. As noted in this forum, the parts are on back order, but covered with the 5yr-60,000 warranty. Dealer said about 2 weeks. I am not holding my breath.

Sorry, it’s a 2020.

I ordered a BD manifold kit yesterday, hopefully that’ll fix it for good! At $528 I think it’s worth it!

Please post some pictures and give details in the quality of the manifolds.
Saw these the other day and am possibly going to order them as my 2nd OEM set has cracked.

So I'm starting to suspect I'm having some kind of exhaust issue but I'm really not sure.

When I drove my truck to work yesterday I got my usual 16-17 mpg on the highway. When i got in to head home i was getting 11-12 which is pretty extreme difference in my opinion. I do not have a check engjne light on or anything and there isn't a loud tick that you can hear from inside the truck. When I opened the truck with the engine running it did seem like there was a minor tick on the passenger side but since this is my first Ram I wasn't sure if it was the famous Hemi tick that I hear about.

If the manifold is cracked, does the MPG fall like mine did? What else would tell me (a person who is not a mechanic by any means) that it is indeed a manifold issue?
I have the same issue. Did you get your truck looked at?

My 2021 Limited e-torque went from a light ticking at startup to sounding like it has cutouts installed over a two-week period. Exhaust is very loud at speeds below 30-45/depending on RPM's. At consistent speeds above this, the system seems to seal up and the exhaust returns to normal decibels. Im on the road for work this week with a 350 mile trip home. Is it ok to drive with this condition? Why are manifold repairs through the dealer taking so long for some people? There is only 33,000 miles on this truck. This is very disappointing.

No i haven't had it looked at yet since i had to go out of the Country right after i posted that. I'm planning on having my mechanic buddy look at it on the 14th (the only time he could fit me in). I suspect it has to be cracked because i took it for a drive the other day to see if the MPG was still way off and it is indeed off. Set my cruise control on 45mph which should easily be getting close to 20 mpg and it was around 15-17 which is usually what i get doing 75mph..

*Note, i do have a 6in lift and 35' tires on my truck and i was wondering in my head if somehow the computer finally caught up to the different size tires and the lift since i have the TazerDT but i just cant believe that with a lift and tires my highway MPG would go from 19-20 at stock to 11-12 with the lift.

I would suspect it would need to be a really large crack to affect mpg that much
If it is a large crack it doesnt make a very loud ticking noise and my check engine light hasnt come on... Are the manifold "ticks" usually pretty faint?

Hi Guys, with these exhaust manifold cracks, how common is it to get exhaust fumes in the cab? While idling, I am regularly noticing fumes with with the windows up. Also, is it possible to visually inspect the manifold without removing the wheel and liner?
