i have a question......when you add in the cost of the ET option (before 2023) and the replacement at 2900 do you think the "fuel" savings paid for it?My etorque just went out this weekend. Wouldn’t charge my 12v when driving at all and happened fairly quick. I started hearing a weird noise about a week ago which I thought was the etorque. Died driving it 10 miles to the dealer today. They got it in and said I need a new etorque, belt and tensioner. Quoted me 2900 all together for everything that needed to be done. I haven’t saw a write up yet.
well i did some math i just answered my own question
at 87000 the extra mile a gal you may get from ET saved 229 gal at 2.75 a gal so it saved about $629.75 + or - a few
definitely not worth it........
