Long story short I've had this issue come up randomly and recently (today again). I have a 2022 RAM 1500 BIGHORN/LONESTAR CREW 4X4 (144.5 in WB 5 FT 7 IN box) with the V8 Etorque engine. Randomly the ESC and Stop/Start malfunction would go off. About 4 months ago was the first time I was driving home it was a wet day, then it happened again a month later twice in one day (But it wasn't raining i don't think). So I brought it to the local Ram dealer, got it diagnosed and they told me it was a Vacuum pump and/or Vacuum sensor most likely. Paid $250 for them just to diagnose that. I was sceptical but I bought the parts and put them in about a month later (myself). In-between that time I didn't have a issue again. Today (about a week later), rainy day the malfunction goes off again on my drive to work. Clearly it was not a vacuum pump or sensor. I'm thinking it has to do with water immersion somewhere, maybe a wheel speed sensor? Also I've had water immersion issue before about a year ago causing the ABS and Stop/Start system to malfunction, but got that fixed after the 4th time bringing it to the dealer (again another intermittent problem).
