Engine block heater cord location

My 2019 3500 400HP has it behind the front lic. plate.
I'm in Oregon too with a 2019 3500 6.7L I6. Checked my Invoice which has "Engine Block Heater" listed, but spent 30 minutes with a flashlight on 2 separate occasions looking for a plug. Nothing. I have Front Sensor wires behind my license plate. No plug. Can you take a pic/post?

I did finally find mine behind the front license plate...

I was looking under the hood of my truck today and the engine block heater cord is zip tied up top above the passenger side strut mount just behind the air box.

Risks for attaching an extension cord to extend the OEM cord - then reroute it to the front bumper ?

Basically, if the truck is parked outside my garage, I would just like to connect it to the power outlet outside and opening the hood to connect it doesnt sound easy. I am planning to buy one of smart plugs - and then somehow figure an automation to turn it on automatically 2-3 hours in the AM on freezing cold days.
This is what I did, popped it out at the tow hook and zip tied it on the side of the hook. A couple winters and the tie hasn't broken.
I've seen people clamping it in their hood about midways, which would allow you to plug in without popping the hood as well, but doesn't look as clean, and can't be too good for the weather seal.
