Electrical "whine"

My truck has developed a very faint, almost inaudible electrical "whine". You can only hear it at low speeds and it changes pitch with RPM's. It sounds like the whine we would get through the radio speakers from older cars when an alternator was going out. Like I said, it is faint... but it's there, and once you've heard it you pick up on it real quick when it happens. Has anyone else dealt with this issue in these newer trucks? With all of the fancy electronics in them, I don't know where to start. I really don't want to head to the dealer to have a tech tell me he can't hear it.
Thank you for any replies.

I had a small whine, almost a wooing like a ghost. Turned out to be the active noise cancellation system. You can check this by unplugging the module under the driver seat and see if the sound goes away. You will lose sound from the speakers during this test however

Thank you for your response. I will try it and see. However it sounds exactly like the old alternator whine. It just may be the ANC module so I'll give it a whirl.

I hear a faint whine too. I can't hear it all the time though. It does sound like alternator whine to me too. I have not been able to isolate it yet.
