After a lot of research I’ve ordered bilstein 6112’s adjustable. That will get me level (2.5” + in the front) and some bigger tires under me. Then when a decent solution comes out I can add a 4” lift

Does anybody have the facts on lifting the ecodiesel.? So the front driveshaft is 5 inches shorter. Will an adjustable shock like the 6112's or Falcons, raising the front end about 2 inches, have an adverse effect on the driveshaft? If you leveled, lifted it this way and still wanted some rake, could you spacer the rear coil spring an inch or would that effect towing? Wanting to put 35's on but not at the expense of the front driveshaft....? Thanks

I have the King shocks up front which got me ~3 inches lift up front (600lb rate springs), and the MaxxCoil variable rate springs in the rear which gave me a 2.25 inch lift (not perfectly level, but damn close). No spacers used.
Any pictures?

Last I heard, BDS is looking for an eco diesel for mock-up. I would love to let them use mine but I'm over 2k miles away. Is anyone near MI and wants to let BDS borrow their truck?

well gents im happy to confirm the pro comp 6" stage 1 fits great! they use a spacer for the front drive shaft and bracketry to achieve proper angles. pretty darn happy with it. havent measured it out, but visually it sits dead nuts level.

What do you mean by loose? I'm looking at this lift for a ecodiesel and am curious why they state it won't work

I did the 6 inch ready lift on mine. Fit was fine but they wouldn't approve it because it hadn't been tested at the time .
I added the coil overs and adjustable rough country's on the front and rear.
Either The back end sagged after a month of use, or It was always that way and ever noticed it but I did install a 1 inch spacer on the rears just so the truck would have a perfectly level profile.
Been very happy with everything and it's been 1.5 years now.

Interesting. No front driveshaft issues?

No, was waiting for some companies to ok their lift for the ED. From my emails with carli and chats with rough country about their coilovers, the main reason they don't recommend is the spring rate for the coilovers. Been debating on building my own kit. Fox 2.5 struts with 600lb springs, icon uppers etc. Seems like the best choice

I actually changed out to the 285/75/18 running -12 offset and using the springs that came with the 6112
I looked and saw they came with a spring. They don't list the 6112 as being compatible on the bilstein website though. We're you able to special order them with the higher lb spring?

Not sure if I'm over-thinking this but trying to find a 4" lift kit for the ED has been impossible because of the driveshaft. Now with Ram ending production, I don't see companies making a compatible lift.

Started looking at the Eibach and Bilstein 6112 leveling kits. Are yall having to upgrade the springs as well to get the advertised level? I'm trying to do this right the first time around but I'm getting tired of researching stuff for this truck that I'm half tempted to throw some spacers on it and be done.
