Even with my Pulsar set to economy, which significantly reduces throttle response off the line, I don't experience this issue you guys are talking about. The only time I have noticed it, and my Promaster City work van is horrible with it as well, is when slowing down for a stop light, or pulling out of a parking lot, where you are slowing down and light changes before you come to a complete stop and you try to get back into he throttle. Then there is a delay as the transmission starts hunting or the correct gear to be in. I've come to expect it from my work van and will manually downshift if I anticipate that scenario happening.
