I happen to be under the truck today making sure my new endlinks were still tight and I saw grease spots on the skid plate for the transfer case. As I looked closer I saw grease slung around on the under body heat shield and I ran my finger across the drive shaft seal and it had black grease everywhere. I just had my transmission service last week where they dropped and replaced the pan and filter. There was no grease anywhere at that time. Could they have accidently split/cut the drive shaft rubber seal when dropping the pan or crossmember? Found the part number 68259561aa sticker on it. I assume this is all that would need to be replaced right?
Is it ok to drive until I get it back to them next week to look at?
