Door seals squealing

Anyone had issues with your door seals squealing? Today I was driving from Dayton to St Louis and had a strong cornering crosswind, when it would gust the drivers door seal sounded like a sick kazoo. Did this off and on for four hours or so. I have no water leaks but the wind must have been just right to catch the door frame and direct the wind in to the seal. Weird one for sure...

No squealing here but I am getting more rain water than I think I should between the top door seal (of the rear door) and the inside near the roof where the door meets it when closed. Then it drips down into the door jamb onto all of the hinges when I open it. Its starting to make the hinge squeak. I hope their new seals are good quailty and placed correctly because I had an 07 Durango with seals that wore out quickly and in 5 years caused water to get in the door which rusted everything out pretty badly. I really hope that’s not what I have to deal with again. I haven’t seen any threads with my exact problem but when I read about your wind noise it got me wondering about bad door seals. Any thoughts?

I was going about 70 and heard mine squeal as well. Then a crosswind and more squeal. Not happy I can’t go over 70 without some noise. Any fix for this?

Has it happen to me a few times while doing 70+ with a pretty good crosswind.

Hello XDBrad,

Are you thinking you'd like to have this inspected by your dealer? Send us a private message if you need any assistance with the servicing process.

Its probably not your door seals. A lot of posts on this noise coming from the gap between the side mirrors and the buddy of the truck

Yes ...to me it sounds like blowing across the top of a pop bottle. I've heard it twice with a strong crosswind coming into the driver's door..... I helped Mine by adjusting the doors a couple milimeters inward...

@XDBrad @A10 @Netmaster @Fidomac This post had a mishmash of wind noises going on but eventually focused in on what I believe you all are probably dealing with if you want to take the time to sift through it. Reply #71 gives an example.
