Anyone want to change the chrome handle for body color?
Remove screw from both handles,
Separate and replace....done.

cjfioren where did you purchase the replacement door handles, ive been looking for a set of black ones to get rid of the chrome insert on mine?

I changed mine to a chrome one because you can really see the scratches (dunno if it is because of my nails hahah). If you switch to chrome you would not be conscious of opening ya door.

Same process for the front handles too (fronts have that button to lock)? So to make sure I understand....you just take out that TORX screw with the handle still mounted, and the insert can be removed and replaced?

Curious about that too. I was thinking of going to black handles, or at least get rid of the chrome insert.

Really wonder if it’s possible to just get that chrome piece out. I’d like that normal handle with black piece where the chrome is

Interested in this as well as I'm currently in the process of de-chroming my LImited. Thought I would just have to get the inserts painted.

from the looks of the OP pics, the body-colored ones are all one piece as apposed to a separate piece for where the chrome is. Maybe someone with a sport with body-colored handles can confirm this.

Well boys I have no idea tbh. Nobody replying to us
I may have to bust out the plastidip for a trial run for the black to see what it looks like. Probably not durable enough for this application long term. Maybe a wrap.

Ya I’m about to take a flat head to the edge of it and see how it’s pans out lol

I plasti dipped mine today very happy with the outcome, never did it before and did almost all my badges too. Did the rear handle as well.

Looks very good man! Amazing how much better it makes your truck look. Did you mask of the handles too? And then did you use something to get into the cracks of the handles?

Tough to tell from the pictures, did you do the entire handle or just the insert? Looks good!

Just the inserts I will get a better picture for you all later. I was thinking about getting all black handles was quoted $55 for all 4 but I like the 2 tone look.
