I ordered (last May) a quad cab that way I could have the 6'4" box while still having a truck that wasn't too long. I do wish I would have ordered a crew cab though. A CC6'4" would have been a tight fit when ever I wanted to put it in the garage, which is why I went with a QC.

I just used the link above and changed things around a bit to confirm info.

-crewcab with 6'4 bed------153.5"
-quadcab w/ 6'4 bed-------140.5"

at very bottom of the dimensions section shows info above.

It was must for me to have the 6’4” long bed, in my opinion it looks better than short bed. I also need it for my work. Very happy with it. It was the only one on the lot in Ontario in the colour and equipment I wanted, at the time I was buying.

I looked for a loooong time to find a gently used truck with the features I wanted. Had to have the 6'4" bed and crew cab. Upgraded from an old dodge with an 8' bed. Already missing that extra space. Loving this truck though.

My reason is that it would fit in the garage. Unusual here in SoCal to park in the garage but that and the fact that I did not need the extra space as I use mine to haul a couple of kayaks, mountain bikes and camping gear.

yes parking can also be an issue as most places now think everyone is driving a compact it seems

Purty. I settled for the 5' box and I slightly regret it. Hasn't been an issue yet but if I had the extra foot I'm sure I'd find a way to use it...

Thanks! Can't go wrong with these trucks!

Still waiting on it to get here, but the 6’4 bed was the biggest reason I had to order. From my searching I’ll have the only patriot blue 6’4 bed longhorn with org (sure wasn’t one anywhere in the country). I know it’s an opinion but the short bed doesn’t look proportionally right to me.

Rambox was a must and only came in the shorter bed in 2019.

I must admit that it’s a huge pain to have the shortbed instead of the 6’4”. I carry enough almost daily which means stuff is always sticking out, but this is also my family car when my wife and kids, plus clients and friends visit Maui and needed the crew cab space. I had searched the used market and at the time I couldn’t find exactly what I wanted, so I settled. Probably good though, this fits in my garage. 7AA16595-E6E7-48A7-91C6-2ED10905AFA4.jpeg B2949447-0A4A-4D60-AA2E-5927BBF3B752.jpeg

The one thing I didn’t like about my 2017 Ram Rebel was the short bed. Made sure I ordered my 2020 Ram with full size bed. 31E15CF8-9C6E-41C8-BC56-5B91B1E1767E.jpeg

Everyone's harkening back to the good ol' days of long beds for men who did truck stuff but no one grumpin' about no regular cab option

Wanting the long bed to, easy in 2500...hard in 1500 unless ordered
