Both of our 2020's open all the way when using the fob or the release button in the cab. My Laramie has a standard tailgate and the wife's Limited has the MFT.

i believe if you have an alfod you can disable it.

I never had an issue with my tailgate fully opening. Just had an occasional tailgate open warning... Couldn't be dainty closing it.

My brand new 2021 with multi function tailgate does not fully release with or without the cover on. Anyone found the fix? Safe to assume it is an adjustment and another trip to the dealer?
