Not going to argue with you.It won't stop going forward automatically with ParkSense. That is absolutely not part of the system. Backing up is, but not going forward. You can test this by putting a cardboard box in front of the truck so the sensors register that it is there and then creep forward. It will hit it and push it, but it will never stop.
I'm not arguing, just stating facts. Not going to argue with you.
My truck has automatically stopped a few times when it sensed a bush or a fence when going forward at slow speeds.
And I don't have the "Safety Group".
How slow is slow? Not going to argue with you.

I've several people talk about running into their garage wall with the truck. So...Anybody wanna drive into your closed garage door and test this out?
Yup. That’s why I question if it works on every truck. I don’t believe it’s standard and is part of another safety package.I've several people talk about running into their garage wall with the truck. So...
Well, as I explained above, ParkSense does not support stopping while going forward while parking. But in 2021, they added the pedestrian emergency braking while you are going over 7 mph. So, I guess if you want to try running into your garage wall at say 10 mph, it should try to stop you. But under 7, it won't for sureYup. That’s why I question if it works on every truck. But Pedestrian Emergency Braking is part of this package. I haven’t seen anywhere it’s on all trucks.Well, as I explained above, ParkSense does not support stopping while going forward while parking. As far as I know tracking doesn't work on non-moving objects. ACC can drive into a stopped car in theory per Ram's documentations.Well, as I explained above, ParkSense does not support stopping while going forward while parking. I never said was on all trucks. You have to have the DASM which has the camera and radar in the windshield. But Pedes

It beeps when a car is turning in front of me and I go around them. Never beeped when I went close to a car on the side of the road (in the lane). That's not true. Watch the posted video, it even mentions that the FCW can be triggered by other objects. I don't know of moving over passes or street signs.
Let's us know how it goes. I'd love to be proven wrong. Could you imagine being off road in bumper tall grass and your truck stopping every time you try to pull forward? I've been there. It beeps red at me, but NEVER stops. Of course, I was only in it for about 20 seconds otherwise I'd have to turn the front sensors off or it would drive me nuts.2021 Ram Limited.
I just read this thread and decided to look up my window sticker. I have the following listed on my sticker: ParkSense Front and Rear Park–Assist with Stop
So, I 'assume" it will stop backing up and going forward. I have had it stop backing up but never going forward. I will try the "cardboard box test" tomorrow.

that would have saved me coming in hot and ramming the electrical outlet through the drywallIt won't stop going forward automatically with ParkSense. That is absolutely not part of the system. I have the exact same on my truck. Also, have the park assist. Works great for parallel parking. I played with the perpendicular parking, but never really used it. Of course, I added it after I bought the truck.T

I also have that feature where it will park itself, but. Never used it though.
There are a lot of calculations that happen. Things like how big is the object, how fast you are coming up on a stopped object, are you pressing the accelerator, and if so, how much. There are others also. But if there is a car stopped at a stop light and you are accelerating up to it and the system doesn't think you will stop, it will engage. Thinking it only works for moving objects is completely false. It beeps when a car is turning in front of me and I go around them.
