Just acquired a 5th Gen Ram 1500 last week. Looking at all the bells and whistles on it which have become a far cry from my 2nd Gen Ram 2500 I still currently have. Both carry the "Laramie" tattoos; however, the newer version is a 5.7L HEMI, while the other is a Manual 12V coal-roller cummins. (1st half of the '98 production season) which has been an EXTREMELY dependable ride for me. (Both are Quad Cabs, btw!!) "MusicBoxDriver" derives from my occupational pursuits in the entertainment/ music industry for the past twenty years behind the wheel of my trusted Peterbilt. (Thought I'd try to explain my handle for anyone's interest here.) University of Texas alumni (2020), MA of History.
