Do i need to replace upper control arms when adding a leveling strut?

Nothing wrong with ready lift. Mine is a grocery getter with the occasional deer in the bed during the hunting season, other then That it carts around my golf bag quite nicely
They might be mostly adequate for your use. But they are not quality. Lest people buy them thinking they're getting good.

When the balljoints wear out prematurely or worse completely break on you sending that spindle along with your wheel in a place/angle you don’t want it. If you search around here you’ll find a few example of what happens when it does bye bye. IMO if you cant afford at least the 2” Mopar offroad control arms… leave the truck alone and don’t level it. Gonna cost you more in the end if that BJ goes bye bye.

It depends. The angle with 2” leveling top hat spacers is fine. Didn’t really change much for me. I have them checked every tire rotation and they are good. Here’s mine:

Anything above that can be questionable.

But of course, definitely doesn’t hurt to put them. Especially if you’re going to be going off road alot

Still stand by my statement if you can afford a 5th gen ram. You can afford $200 Control arms or just leave the suspension alone!!
