DIY Bed Slide (from my daughter's old bed)

I was tired of crawling in to my Truckbed to get my tools......
Top shelf is for Lexan/Plexi plates in use for Playland maintenance
Bottom draw for my tools.

Do you have wheel stops? 1 for when it is fully extended out and 1 for stow mode so it doesn't rock back and forth?

Hi, nope did not use any stops.
I think I will use a “standpole” use rest up on.
The slide is exact the same size as the bed, so no rocking back and forth

I was thinking if you put down tailgate on an incline if the entire slide would slip out onto ground without any stoppage (especially if weighted down with tools).

Yep, in the eighties that place was wild! We liked al the cars the GI’s drove (we didnt have any pickups then in the Netherlands)
