Disable seat belt chime

Dang these safety sensors. Can we not back up these RAMs with the door open to look back?

I've tried to backup my Ram with the drivers side door open to simply move back a few inches hooking up a trailer and the dang thing keep's going into park. Can this be overridden?

I have a set. Toyota had no bypass so I had to have them. I'd prefer to just turn it off personally.

I wonder if the door open + push pushing brake trick still works. I've heard they closed that loop.

Why does nobody want to wear the damn seat belt?

I spend lots of driving time on my farm roads that do not require seat belts. Very annoying and a royal pain to have to unbuckle and buckle getting out and in to open and close farm gates. Besides, I might quickly need to take the appropriate action against a coyote. My fast food (deer and turkey) don’t like the chime either.

I have to unbuckle to use the gate keypad when entering my shop complex. It’s annoying to have to buckle it back up to drive on to the shop, especially when I usually end up stopping for a couple minutes to chat with several people along the way.

I have one of those as well, but disabling the chime was easy.

It was more for the forced park, etc. some are dealing with than to disable the chime.

I just used my Autel to disable the seatbelt chime.

You can disable/able the seatbelt chime w/o buying one of those attachments. I believe (can't remember) just buckle/unbuckle 3 times while on (engine not running), then start. Just google disable seatbelt chime RAM.
