Dip stick?

Definitely not. But really, if you are not a person who occasionally puts the pedal to the floor, you would not notice what octane is in the tank. In my experience, using a lower octane only becomes evident when you are fully into the pedal and the motor is in the higher rpm range.
Or if you tow with your truck, the higher octane is needed

As to post #73... what I was referring to was a video of some dude talking to the engineer who developed the H/O engine. Yes I know what it states in the owners manual. Steelantis engineer states for proformace and towing , yes, 93 octane, but capable of running less octane, engine will adjust.
Now, back to dip stick(hehe)?
