Digital Key setup 2025 Laramie

I received a response from Ram Connect about the Vehicle Health Reports. Apparently they only update once a month. This was news to me, as it used to update all the time.
At first, mine was updating quite frequently. In the past few months, it could go 7 to 10 days between updates. It now just went 31 days and finally updated. The truck is almost one year old. If this is by design, it should have been documented.

I think that is the key point there, Ram has not provided documentation on how everything is supposed to work/update. There really isn’t a reason that it couldn’t update realtime or at least every time you drive. My wife’s Hyundai Palisade stays updated every time you open the app, not to mention the far superior features available in the app.

The double-talk and flat out lies are just getting old. Why not document what you're selling, and let us decide if we want to pay for it. I'm talking whether it's "free" as part of a crazy expensive truck, or if it's a subscription.

It makes it that much worse that we pay for these features and they do not work as they should. I have spent countless hours between my current 2025 and previous 2021 Rams sorting out issues with the Uconnect system. Currently I have a ticket open since July with nothing positive coming out of it. I get weekly calls checking in but that is about it.

OK, it’s been over a year now since my first tungsten arrived. I am done waiting on FCA to roll this out, is anyone on here an attorney and wants to start a class action? Maybe I’m totally off base but I think we have real grounds here and it’s not as much about the money as it is to put pressure on them. I am beyond frustrated.

I'm not an attorney, but I'll offer to help as much as I can. If Stellantis/FCA/Ram would just be a little more transparent or forthcoming, I might be willing to let this slide. I think there's a clear case here of a feature we paid for, and we're due some consideration.
Like you, it's NOT about the money to me. I just want the feature, or at least some explanation of what's going on.

Not an attorney either, but sign me up as part of the class for sure.

The fact that they are still advertising this feature, and as a special discriminator.... shameful.

I think you can pretty much sign everyone up. I’m wondering if this feature is available on the 2026, the pages for those don’t show the “Late Availability” that the 2025 shows. When at the dealer Monday I popped in and test drove a 2026, tried to start it and it said it was looking for the digital key.

I called the number, and was told that there is no timeline to release this feature. When i asked for an escalation manager, they told me the answer would be the same. And finally, when I asked for someone in corporate communications because I thought it was concerning that there was no timeline on the [paid] feature backlog in the overall product lifecycle, they said “you can write a letter”….

How can they get away with this?

The fix would be through a class action lawsuit, but only the attorneys would benefit financially from it. If Ram owners were to prevail, each of us would receive a settlement of $12.43 or some minuscule amount if we joined the class and agreed to waive our future rights to compensation for the fraud.

Probably true…. But the optics matter, and at the very least and due compensation aside, this shouldn't go unchecked.
