What diff oil is everyone running in the 1500 dt 5.7.
I have a 3.92 diff occasionally towing
Thanks

Haven't changed the front diff yet, but the rear got Amsoil 75W-140 with 5 oz. of Mopar friction modifier for the limited slip. The fill specification is just below the fill hole, between 3 to 6 mm to be precise. I used a zip tie bent at a 90 degree angle as a dipstick

I used this in my rear 3.21. No additional friction modifier necessary with LSD.
75W140 is available too.

Get a good synthetic in the same weight as specified in owners manual. If you have limited slip, ads friction modifier. If just an open diff, or the e-locker, no additional additives needed. I'm a fan of Lucas Oil myself

I used Mobil 1 75w140 and Mopar 4318060AC Limited Slip Additive - 4 oz bottle in my 2011 Ram at 107k miles that had the same 3.92 gearing and limited slip diff as this 2022. This was towing 7k# 40% of those miles. That 2011 Ram had 179k miles when I switch to this new 2022. No diff problems.
