Year almost into my wrap and no issues, no peeling. Goes through wash to problem.

I like it man. Did you use a micro squeegee for the edges? Or did it naturally just form around them? Also did you use normal black plastic dip?

Why not paint over wrapping, cost is probably close enough to justify

I just had my front end on my limited color match painted.
Color matched mirror caps are ordered and badging is also on order in black
The only part I’m wrapping is the window surround.

I've been told by numerous body shops painting chrome like the bumpers does not usually hold up well... The shop I am using ordered the exact color match ppf for both bumpers. Figured cover the bumpers, get rid of the chrome and protect them so two fold. We'll see how it looks and lasts I guess...

Getting rid of that chrome front end makes your truck look AMAZING! Totally different truck IMPO...good job.

Are you sure it's color matched PPF or color matched VINYL? Two VERY different things and I am not aware of any one offering color matched PPF so, if you did find some, please post a link...that would be interesting indeed.

My bumpers were painted not chrome, I just painted the surround around my grill and side moulding
My body guy is unreal and after blasting the chrome and then prepping he saw no issues painting it, it’s basically bare plastic at that point. It’s also getting xpel put on the new paint on Monday to protect it

Thanks man, excited to black out the rest to see how it looks finished, I’ll post updated pics when I’m done here in the next couple weeks
