Does the weather tech protect the fronts of the side fenders too? Tough to explain, but basically is the deflector longer than the hood to protect the whole front of the truck, or just the hood portion? Not many pics of the WT on 5th gens
If you look at my pic, you will see the guard extends past the hood to the fender.

If anyone is on the fence about this and needs more pictures here is the picture that swayed me to get it. My truck is black and it looks really sharp on this one. 1600454479270.jpeg

Just ordered my Wt deflector. Will post pics once I have it installed.

Ok I'm not thrilled with my WT bug/stone deflector. Would someone be kind enough to show photos with the hood up and deflector installed? Mine was a major PITA to put in and I'm not sure the push pins are going to hold. They didn't seem long enough, actually it appears that the deflector isn't molded properly on the "interior" part.

Looking for close ups along the length of the deflector and a couple of close ups head on with the hood closed would be awesome.

Then you are definitely installing it incorrectly. It should fit without issue and the push pins worked perfectly. Did you follow the instructions? How about you taking pics of the deflector and the inside the hood lip installation and we can go from there to determine if you are the cause or the product?

My WT installed perfect. Took about 15 minutes start to finish, no issues with the pins. If its not lining up you may have gotten a bad mold, mine was fine.

Of course I installed it correctly, it was too dark to take pictures or they would have been posted. Definitely something wrong with the deflector's shape.

Do you all agree/feel that the deflector actually works with bug/rocks hitting the windshield. From the pic posted it appear the Mopar one has a lip that forces air up like the WT deflector.

Thoughts?

Thanks,

I highly recommend. Look at the WeatherTech. I had both the Mopar and WT and like the WT much better!

My AVS Hoodflector has been GREAT! But I only do touchless car washes or hand wash.

I notice less bug splatter since I installed the WT stone and bug. I recommend as well.

Is this the WeatherTech version? Since you've had it, have it noticed any difference (ie: do they work as advertised?) or is it more just for looks?

Can you see it when you're driving or is it hidden from view with the sport hood?

I have a 2020 Limited (Black w/Black Appearance Package) and am debating about putting one of these on. I think I prefer the matte Mopar offers, but based on the reviews of the WeatherTech, I may go with that version...though it's glossy. Maybe the glossy will blend in better.
