So I have been poking around and looking to add rear under seat storage to my 20 Built to Serve and came across this. Just installed it and I love it! Took some pictures, what you guys think.

Similar to the OEM under seat storage, except the OEM version extends out to the back edge of floor mats.

But with a much cheaper price tag!
You’re right. It’s half the price of the Mopar unit. $400 is a serious rip off if you have to pay for it. Fortunately mine came with the B level equipment package. That Molle under seat storage would be perfect if they designed it to fold flat. Probably wouldn’t be too hard to modify it.

I just took ownership of my new truck a couple of days ago, and my truck came with the Mopar unit that folds out. I am on the fence about keeping it or swapping it out for some after market under seat storage unit. I don't like how the storage is directly on the carpeted area, could lead to stained carpet down the road, I do like a self enclosed unit, but I am interested in any Different ideas that you guys may have done to add storage to the rear under seating area. Please include any pictures or links if you found a neat useful solution. Thanks in advance.

This is probably the most popular option but I wasn't a fan of how far it sticks out, seams to cover part of the floormats.

Thanks for sharing, I've see this one and so far it's at the top of my list so far - however like you - I don't like how it covers over the floor mat. I wish there was simply a plastic tray that sat inside the Ram provided storage box, that would be perfect for what I am looking for.

There is the DU-HA option too. Plus they make a lockable cover for it .

It is nice that the Datinfab doesn't sit on top of the rear mat. I really like the Du-Ha that I have, other than I have to lift it up every time I want to access one of the floor bins.

Might be simpler to just get some rubber and put it on the floor to protect the carpet while keeping the factory unit.

So far, that is going to be my best option, it would be really nice if they had a formed plastic tray that fit into that space along with the factor installed fold out storage unit. My 03 Ram had carpet under the seat storage, and some how I was fine with that for almost 20 years use - don't know why this would be anything different other than we all like to keep them as new for as long as we can.
