Dashboard brightness adjustment not working...

I can adjust the brightness with the 8in screen. But the wheel to right of the headlight control knob has stopped working. Anyone else experience this?

I haven't actually driven my truck at night since I got it, I did go and check and everything works like it should as of right now.
