I might be getting confused, and let me know if I am wrong... If you can purchase the Mopar 2 inch lift UCAs (just the UCAs) for around $100 for the pair plus go out and buy for example a Motofab strut extension for $75. That $175 is not even in the same ball park as the full Mopar 2 inch kit valued over $1,000. Why wouldn’t every one just do the $175 option that is cheaper than the Mopar full kit, Ready Lift, and other brands with aftermarket UCAs?

That is exactly what I did. I got the Mopar UCAs for $40 ea and the 2.5 MotoFab for $60. I get it installed tomorrow.

That’s honestly a steal in my books. I’ve been looking at the ready lift level with their UCAs but I’m afraid their bushings won’t last as long as the mopar UCAs

Y’all think with a 2inch strut spacer (Motofab) I even have to worry about new UCAs? I have a Laramie 4x4 but if the same UCAs are on trucks with air suspension and or ORP trucks, that arm is design to tolerate increases in height. Thoughts?

Here are before (1st 3 pics) and after pics (last 3). It looks good to me, but in hindsight I probably would have gone with a 2” so there was a little rake for my camper/trailer.

It is more than UCAs and front spacers... The Fox 2.0 shocks comprise a big chunk of the package price...

Thank you Cmoar for the write up and information. How does the truck ride after the lift? Over large bumps, and highway driving. Thanks!

Honestly, the one negative was driving into a 20+mph wind yesterday. Besides that, the only difference I can notice is when turning. I was only able to drive it 10 highway miles and about 15 in town miles so far.

The best way I can describe it is when you turn left it usually kind of shifts the weight to the front right of the truck, and opposite when turning right? It doesn’t do that anymore. It surprised me, but everything is much more “stable”. Sorry, that may not be the best analogy, but it is the first thing I noticed.

I will add that I also went from the 20x9 +19 factory wheel to a 20x10 -18. Which pushed everything out about 1.5” from stock. I feel that has helped with the overall ride stability, too.

Our roads in Oklahoma are terrible, but there was no real difference with bumps. I will be going to St. Louis over Christmas (almost 1k miles round trip). If there is anything out of the ordinary I can add to this.

@Cmoar in your bio you say “off road group plus 2.5 motofab” so do you mean off road package? So in theory your overall front lift from stock is 3.5”. Just making sure, trying to compare your pictures to your specs.

Ya I have the 1” off-road plus the 2.5” spacers. So in theory it is 3.5” above stock. I haven’t measured from axle to fender yet.

So on the trip to St. Louis I lost about 2.5mpg from our previous trip to Gatlinburg. I had to do everything by hand using a GPS app since they can’t recalibrate my speedometer at the dealership (service manager actually recommended the Hypertech if I didn’t want to wait). I got 14.5mpg with a pretty strong crosswind vs 16.8-17mpg I averaged on our other trip.

The ride was not noticeably different at all. It handled good and bad stretches of roads very comfortably. I’ve had no issues driving through downtown here or on the highways so far. I would absolutely do this again.

I will post my mpg on our trip home if anyone is curious.

I have a 2019 1500 and just got a 2" leveling kit with 285/55/R20 Nitto Ridge Grappler tires AND now the left upper control arm ball joint makes a slight knocking noise. Recommendations ?

Assuming you didn’t replace them when you did the lift? The Mopar replacement arms are $47/ea (what Mopar uses for their 2” lift kit), or the Ready Lift arms $350ish.

No, I didn't. I just got the spacers. I didn't think 2" would make that big of a difference. The left side is only making the noise. The right side is as tight as a drum.....no noise. Thank you !

Spacers often seem to cause 'pops' or 'clunks' when turning...Sometimes it is just a matter of getting the spacer PERFECTLY aligned with the strut and making sure everything is torqued to specs.
On my 16' ram I went with Bilstein 5100's set to 1.4 inch ride height increase and was/am very happy with this setup and zero front end noise. I have a Longhorn on order with the Off Road Package and would like to level the front about the same-1.5". Would love to use Bilsteins again if/when they come out with a model for the 19's.
