I have purchased 2020 RAM Laramie 1500 sport,
But was surprised that it has a conventional differential.

Can i change it to locking differential? Either LSD or mechanical lock!!

Sure, you can always upgrade stuff like that. I've never done anything like that on a ram but I know others have. I'm sure some people will give you their opinions on what's available.

And, don't be surprised next time, look up the window sticker or build sheet prior to buying so you know everything the truck has or doesn't have.

If you want to go limited slip, Mopar offers a kit for the ZF-style 1500 differential (9.25, 2014 & up). Don't remember the price, but with labor I'm guessing $800-$1000.

Dusty

The Mopar kit includes the ring and pinion housing, clutches, side gears and hardware. It can (normally) be found here: I didn't note the part number, but there may be other sources for the Mopar LSD conversion kit on the net.

However, go to the Moes site and read the message.
