Console Safe Options

I have the Mopar one in my Laramie. I lock my pistol and extra magazines in it and it works well with plenty of room.

I don't how different the Limited console is, so not sure if the Laramie safe fits both.
The Limited and Longhorn have deeper sliding sections, so there is less room beneath that section for those models.

If I remove the sliding tray the larger safe fits, but I loose the cupholders in the console doing so. I think the trims other than limited and longhorn have the cupholders in the lid.

How much stuff you keep in your center console? I mean, I like the amount of available space, but even with the factory locking safe installed, I've never said, man I wish I had that space back.

The factory locking safe will not fit my center console because it is smaller than the console it is designed to fit. My console won't hold much until the sliding function is unusable.

Certainly wouldn't want something under the seat tht can cause issues with the power seats

Since my rear seats are not powered that's not an issue.

Overlooked that it was rear seat

Yes, they do. But they don't have lids that flip up and cover them. I believe it's the lid that makes the tray deeper.

If anyone is interested I have a ConsoleVault part number 1093-3D for sale, as I have sold my truck. My safe has the 3 digit combination lock and is in like new condition. Includes hardware and instructions. $200 plus shipping or if anyone is in northern Virginia they can pick it up/we can work something out.
If you’re posting something for sale, you’ll need to comply with forum rules. Including a picture of the item that includes a handwritten note containing your username, date, and forum name.
And I would suggest creating a thread on the buy/sell/trade forum.

My apologies

I stumbled across this thread after running into clearance issues installing the Tuffy console lockbox in my 2023 Limited Longhorn. After examining the Tuffy lock box I was able to modify it with some minor cutting and grinding and a few rivets to fix the clearance issues. I lowered it about an inch. Still plenty of secured storage for my needs

Confused a bit with this thread. I have 2024 southforke longhorn with brown cowboy interior...didnt realize it was that rare..does anyone know if the lockrdown or console vault would fit without me having to break the tabs or center divider?

Just picked up a 24 2500 laramie.
Has anyone heard of or tried the Wasai console safe?
If SO, does the sliding cup holder still operate correctly?

Try asking in hdrsms.com. They will be better able to answer your questions about your 2500.

I don't think you'll find a Laramie with the mountain brown interior. Wasn't that only available on the Longhorn? But you might consider going with a black console and swapping your lid onto it. I swapped a mountain brown steering wheel into the 2020 Laramie I used to own and I liked the little pop of color with the black. Could be an interesting look.
i have the last one in v8 from 2024 Longhorne southforke. beautiful truck in white. looks like lockrdown is no longer in business. console vault seems the only viable choice for the Longhorne. I am just waiting for a sale. i think its based on the limited so its longhorne limited southforke.

That's just Ram/Stellantis playing games with the name. When it debuted, the Longhorn was called "Laramie Longhorn". Likely to associate the new model with the highest available trim level at that time. A couple years ago they decided to rename it "Limited Longhorn". This has caused some confusion with potential buyers. The Longhorn is its own model, not really based on any other models. I have no idea why they can't just call it a Longhorn and drop any other model names. Maybe they're worried that people will confuse it with Bighorn lol.

For what it's worth, Longhorn and Southfork do not end with "e".
