Cold air intake

Point being, you're wasting your time and take your BS elsewhere since you want to act like an *ss.

Nobody said this made a HUGE difference and also with the exhaust note being louder, that's proof enough for me it's doing something. Agree or don't, I don't give two sh*ts!!
Touchy, touchy..... someone must have gotten a really expensive CAI to be triggered that hard! Did it come with the throttle body spacer as a matched set?

Free shipping and handling!

Wait, that's not all. Order in the next 30 minutes and we will DOUBLE your order. That's right you'll get two, you heard it two matched sets guaranteed to make your truck go Mach speeds for the price of one.
(Fast speed voice: Shipping and handling extra. Mach speeds not guaranteed over land mass areas. Return shipping not included in guarantee. Handling fees will apply. These fees may double the cost of item.)

Just looking for someone who has installed cold air intake in their 1500. Seeking pros and cons!
Thank you in advance
I have S@B on my 2021 Limited it seems to run a little better, sounds better 5.7 Hemi. Best feature you can just look at the air
cleaner to check if it's dirty.

Touched a nerve did I? Your opinion on experience on a forum doesn't change the effectiveness of CAI'S. This topic comes up all the time. You should find it easily.
not on me I already seen the thread and agree with what it wont do for your Ram just saying threads search doesnt always yield results like it shoud and people that are noobs themselves sound silly calling others noobs lol

Search does leave a lot to be desired, but if you k ow how to use it, it's not hard to find the info you are looking for. I've found Google search does a batter job finding forum threads than the forum search

When I said newbs, I was refering to those who were just starting out modifying their vehicles. It had nothing to do with time spent on forums. I didn't mean to hurt your feelings. Sorry.

why do you think you hurt my feelings? Thump your chest much? Being condescending to new forum members is not really necessary instead of just being helpful, you must pee all over your yard

and no I am not new I have been a member under a diff name since 2019

Knock it off, both of you. Neither are adding anything constructive to this thread.

you are correct, I apologize for my part in the derail with that being said if you can have a sound difference with a CAI wouldn't that make a difference in the amount of forced air into the intake? I put one on my Jeep Wrangler along with a throttle body spacer and noticed a drastic increase in throttle response and mileage.

Sound has nothing to do with actual air flow. The factory air intake is "tuned" to reduce engine noise. When you remove the factory install, you remkve that sound suppression, which is why it always sounds louder. And TB spacers are well known to be snake oil and make zero difference on MPI or DI fuel injection vehicles.

I have to disagree with you on that the 2 made a world of difference on the Jeep 2mpg and throttle response was very noticeable

Nothing to disagree with. It's been proven time and again the TB spacer makes zero difference. There is absolutely no way it can make a difference. And if you have one that has the spirals machines in, they actually restrict air flow.
I'm not saying the CAI might not have been the difference, on your jeep, but a TB spacer definitely wasn't. Don't believe me, use any internet search and read from real world testing, not manufacturer claims.

Actually, try watching " Engine Masters ", on Motor Trend Network. They did a test, installing a throttle body spacer, and added power. Probably nothing noticeable, but dyno showed improvement. With any modifications, no 2 systems will get the same result. With their particular setup it made a difference, but they are testing 500-700 HP engines, not stock engines in vehicles.

On a carb they work. Fuel injection no. Do you have a link to the specific episode that they did fuel injection testing on with TB spacers? All I could find was one with carb spacers.

It prob worked on engine masters 600hp engine because it made their single plane carb intake have more plenum volume. I bet they gained 5 hp at 8k rpm or something like that
