Coin holder - useful or stupid?

Is there an insert that doesn't have any coin slots? My Googling churned up nothing

Quarter slots useful for me when I park at some of my doctors who are in municiple areas

My kids find the coin holder extremely useful. Every time I fill it up, they empty it.

It gets used as often as the CD player...

I wish I had the cd player in my truck. I've got so many cds that aren't on iTunes or YouTube (some banned, some foreign)

Why is there a spot for half-dollars? I would bet that I haven't seen a half dollar in circulation in 10+ years. And why are the coins slots ordered by size instead of value? Dimes after pennies really?

I use it because it's there. But honestly, the coins I have placed there, I have never used.

Where are you getting charged $5? I only know of one small restaurant, that I go to, that charges 3%. A couple gas stations have cash and charge prices, but most don't.

Absolutely. I found out once that my local Popeye's Chicken changed the drive-thru to cash only. It shortened the line and I was placing my order when they told me. Luckily I had $40 on me to pay for my family bucket. It was a win-win.
