clunking noise coming from front of truck

Drove my big horn home a couple weeks ago and I had the clunking start at 600 miles. Got under the truck and pushed it around and found the clunking at the driver side sway bar bolt connection. Have an appointment tomorrow, hopefully they can just torque it down.

Ended up being two lose sway bar bolts. One wasn’t torqued at all. Caught it early enough to just be able to torque them down(69ftlb) he said.

My '19 Big Horn ORP had the same issue about 2 months ago. It was the sway bar not torqued correctly. Should have been an easy fix but, leave it to the dealer to eff it up. Apparently while re-torquing one of the bolts snapped off. They had to drill out and had some problems doing it. After 2 1/2 days I finally got to pick it up. Unbelievable! Everything is all good now.

I had the same noise on mine last week. It was a loose sway bar end link. Tightened it down to spec lbs. and it’s all good now. I’m going to assume that’s exactly what’s going on with yours.

Same here. Dealer service stated that Mopar has been a bulletin out about this.

Well I wish my dealer was as helpful as some of yours. I take my truck in today. I get a call back. Your suspension has an aftermarket spacer. We cannot look at or even evaluate what the issue could possibly be. Maybe something loose, but we can work on it under warranty.

Please excuse my naivety, the noise I hear is coming from my passenger side wheel area and can feel at lower speed a clunk noise. Does this sound the same to you folks who have had it?

Mine occurred on the driver side and i could feel it with my feet when driving. If you get under the truck and push it around look at your sway bar upper link bolt connections. That's where my clicking was occurring at.

Old thread I know but based on others, maybe I got lucky with the clunk starting at 12,500 miles. Vehicle is currently in service for replacement of two sway bars. Parts may take a few days to arrive. Noise started with clunk along right hand side of vehicle when driving over uneven roads.

I just had a dealer fix a similar issue for me with the clunking but it was not loose sway bar. They had to replace the cab body mounts just fyi.
