I’ve avoided having to take the time and effort to really figure out how to remove the cup holders in my 2020 Longhorn. But I need to do it. I’ve had enough. Does anyone know how to remove the rubberized insert? Is it possible? I used to do this all the time with my Silverado. NP. 9A2672D6-1EFB-4603-9DDB-D6F940DA0171.jpeg

Any all purpose cleaner will work. I use Optimum power clean.

Thanks for the cleaning solutions. i may be cleaning it in place as you suggested. But it sure would be a lot easier to clean if I can get that thing out of there. Anyone do that?

I just did this a few weeks ago, I found a YouTube video that explained how to do it (don’t think I would have been able to figure this out on my own):

Certainly more difficult than cleaning the rubber inserts in cup holders that just pull right out in some cars, but still not too bad.

I have a Laramie, not sure if it is different for a Longhorn (I don’t have the covers for my cup holders).

Thanks for the video. Wow that’s quite a project. Not sure I’m up for that, but very interesting. Those designers sure didn’t take into account making the console easy to clean. A little disappointing.

When there’s built-up grime that bad, I use 50/50 Spray Nine (non-HD) and water. I spray it on, let it sit for a minute, then wipe it off. When it looks dry, I usually follow it with 303 protectant.
