I had my first outdoor cigar of the year today (sorry, I didn't think of taking any pics). Weather has been terrible this winter but today was almost 60 degrees. We're supposed to have mid-60's by the weekend. I finally get to do stuff outside again!

Yea I have been able to move the operation outdoors this week.
I have been in the heated garage sitting by a window with exit fan.
I need a cigar lounge bad!

Yeah, our cigar lounge is my favorite room in the house. I definitely recommend it for the cold months!

I smoked one of the padron original series blends to see what the hype is last week and I also tried a 1926 series.

Let me firstly say I don’t want to bash a man’s cigar, especially if it is one of his favorites. I know my favorites are not everyone else’s. I know everyone likes different cigars. I know this because I watch a lot of cigar reviews on you tube and everyone’s opinion on cigars are vastly different than others, and mine. I have seen great reviews on terrible cigars IMO, along with so so reviews on my favs.

So, having said that, I do love Nicaraguan cigars over ALL others without a doubt. The padron original series was decent IMO, but not box worthy for me at any price. And the 1926 had some of the dark cherry flavor I like but had some almost perfume flavor going on that was too much for me. So, I’m staying away from padron. Over hyped and way over priced I think, I don’t get it.

I was very afraid I would love padron and have to make them my fav. Happy they are not.

I think everyone needs to try them because of the hype and see. What is your opinion ?

Honestly? Meh. Not a fan either.
I've bought a few here and there, but that one was lifeless. It may have been too old. It was probably in my humidor since before covid and no telling how old it was when it was given to me.

Today's burnt offerings.
3rd pic is a closeup of the band on #2.

the only way i ever got down with cigars was splitting them open to remove the tobacco and replace it with another substance turning them into something know as a blunt. those days are long gone but i did enjoy them. LOL
