Hello. I got a great deal on my 2019 Ram Laramie Sport 4x2. It has all the features and more. Trying to do the best I can on the warranty. I have seen threads on best deals for 7 and 8 year 125k or unlimited plans. Unfortunately, I live in Florida and the rates seem fixed. Any way to work around if I have an alternate address in another state?

I had our Longhorn delivered to and registered in FL from a dealer in Greenville, SC. That dealer (Big O Dodge) has given me the best price quote for extended warranty plans, including vs. prices quoted by Direct and Zeigler. I am not sure if there are any restrictions on where you purchase the plan from, but it should be honored at all dealers.

Following...interested in this as we have a Pacifica also that we wouldn't mind keeping around for a long time

From previous posts, I believe that the warranty is pinned to the VIN which is on the title with your name and address so my guess is they will follow Florida law and charge MSRP. So unless you want to retitle it to a close relative in another state, have them buy the warranty and then title it back to you and transfer the warranty with the title for $75, I think you are stymied by the system in Florida.

I live in FL and have a residence in VA. I used my VA address to buy my online warranty and zero issues...saved a TON! Now if you live in FL, and have no other residences...you're screwed.

No true at all. I did not have to prove anything and just gave them my VA address. Not tied to the title at all.
