Chirping noise in 4 cylinder mode

I've noticed an annoying issue with my 2019 Ram 5.7 hemi. When the engine is in 4 cylinder mode cruising around town, the truck makes a squeaking or chirping sound. It also does this when the truck is idling in drive. After playing around for a bit, I was able to make the noise stop by disabling the mds with the manual shift buttons. But this does not eliminate the squeak at idle.

I don't notice the sound when cruising at highway speeds, probably because the wind is loud enough with the windows down to cover up the sound. But it is pretty embarrassing at the bank or at a stop light to be driving such a nice new truck with such an annoying squeak.

Before I take it to the dealer, has anyone else had this issue? And has it been resolved?

Hi C.E.Divine,
I understand why this may be concerning. We're available via private message if you would like an added layer of assistance once you are able to visit your dealer to get this inspected.
