charging airpods with usb

Hey guys, I like to throw my airpods on charger when I am driving but when I plug them into the usb ports it brings up the "device not support" screen. When I close it out it keeps coming back up. Is there setting somewhere that I can turn the notification off? I like having only one cord in the truck so I was hoping to not have to charge it through the AC port.

Plug in to the USB port show Battery symbol not the one show USB symbol.

Your sig does not show your trim level, so if you have USB inside the center console, try that. It's charge only.
