Getting my tint installed today. Installer has me a little worried about the windshield tint as he told me water can get under the dash and cause some issues. Hope that's not the case. He also recommended 50% on the windshield as that's what all his customers get to cut down on the glare. He has it on his and it didn't look too bad. I'm going with 15% all around and 50% on the windshield. Crossing my fingers it's not too dark.
Let me know how the 50 is after the first night of driving in the rain. I had 60% on a prior car and it’s great in the daytime and was iffy at best at night in an area with no lighting.

Yeah I asked him for the 70, but he didn't bring it with him because no one ever wants it. I'll see how it goes when I leave for work in the morning. I leave at 430am, so it will still be dark. Hopefully it works out.

Well...let us know. If not, will he replace it with the one you wanted???

Well first drive in at night since the tint was done yesterday and so far so good. It's a little dark, but my time driving at night is not as often as it is during the day time so I think it's going to work out.

I had 20% put on my front windows from my purchasing dealer first.
Decided that was too light so had 5% done on my front windows and 20% on all my rear windows next with a 5% strip in ceramic.
Didn’t like the way this tint was installed by the installer so ended up getting refunded and got it redone again with llumar ceramic 5% all around, air80 ceramic on the windshield, with a 5% strip and 70% ceramic on my sunroof.
