I am having mine coated on Monday 5/25 for $800. Not doing the glass or wheels. Bought 2020 Rebel new, 2 weeks ago. Service Includes the standard - 'full iron decontamination, clay bar, single stage polish, alcohol wipe, and then lay down the coating.'

Sounds like a good price. Any warranty?

Yeah, I am told a 5yr I believe. Gtechniq is product. Not sure how these warranties are enforced. Do you go to the detailer/installer, or the manufacturer of the coatings? I plan on using reload sprays and washes after I get it done, on the regular.

My last truck was a 2016 Tacoma, white - single stage paint (no factory clear coat on white Tacos). And I was already getting paint issues like oxidation before 36kmiles. I didn't wax it though. So that was my fault. I live in a hot/dry/sunny climate, and I can't garage my truck. So with this new truck, I wanted some basic protection before it gets too old. I also bought a cover to use when it is blistering hot outside in the summer. My truck gets full sun, all day long.

Not super easy to see on a white truck. But I can tell the difference.

I'm based in colorado.

been coating vehicles for ages

1500 is steep but hey
I'm charging 680 for a 2yr
or 1100 for a 5 yr in a group buy.
my lifetime is 1400 and it includes yearly gold detailing and recoating for FREE if it requires it or if the hydrophobic properties aren't to my liking

best soap for ceramic

AMERICANA GLOBAL
it has silica dioxide that acts as a recharge layer

avoid brushes etc and hard cleaners

I got a group buy on this forum for coatings in Texas and I cannot BELIEVE at 680 for a decon.wash clay bar and polish and 2 yr at 680 i have literally 3 people.

lol

I use cquartz gyon and liquid armor
liquid armor 9h 5 yr is even thicker than gyon it is approaching modesta

THE most expensive titanium resin w silica dioxide is the japanese made BC Modesta 05 I think....it may be 04

but that coating is multi layer 10 yr rated and uses infrared curing lights

and the price tag is 4000 plus

this is the coatings used by UK renown detailer Paul Dalton

Google and YouTube him

remember as with ANY coating the level of clarity and efficacy of the coating is ALL in the prep work

which is why prices are all over the damn place
if the place doesn't clay bar first then skip it

Had mine coated a week after purchase with SENSHA 8-year Crystal Glow, approximately $1k. Included paint correction, windows and rims. They also provided me with three years worth of the maintenance boosters.

I am hoping the ceramic coating was a good investment. We will see. Still subject to lots of rock chips but hoping the paint stays looking good longer. I did a 5 year as well.
Ceramic coating will do nothing for chips or swirl marks due to bad wash technique. Sadly lots of ceramic companies claim this.

If you want true protection, you need paint protection film and then topped with a ceramic coat. I've had all my vehicles done this way.

Picked up new Ram last week. I took it straight to get Ceramic Coating. No wax for 5 years. They polished it before they coated it and did the wheels also. The pic doesn't do it justice because it's a cloudy day.
Beautiful, but I almost called the police thinking mine was stolen. That coating looks spectacular.

PPF and Cquartz Professional installed immediately after pick up (I drove it straight to the detailer)
