Cd player screen

I just finished installing a cd player in my 2020 Ram 1500 and it was plug and play. But I'm not sure.if the screen looks right without getting it programmed. It doesn't have a button in media for the cd player, it just comes on when I insert a disc. Then the screen looks generic. It doesn't recognize the artist or track name.

For those that had the cd player come with their truck dud it look like the photo posted?

You probably have to add the CD player with AlfaOBD. I looked but could only find one setting for CD player. @Jimmy07 would know.

My 8.4 C NAV. does not look like that.
Did any of the 12 inch units come originally with a CD player? just curious.

I have a 2022 Ram Bighorn, can I add a factory cd player in it and where can I purchase it from and part number? Is it plug and play? I have alfa-OBD.

CD Player for 2022 Ram 1500?

I really hate to be the bearer of bad news, but the factory CD Player is not going to work on a 2022 with UC5. The CD Player will not show up in the media sources on UC5 radios after it’s enabled with AlfaOBD. That's quitter mentality :D But guess I'll be salvaging a UC4 somewhere!
