Car play not working but usb is charging my phone

My car play was working for the first 2 months now it stopped working and only Chargers my phone and doesn’t display on my 12 inch display I updated my phone and reset settings on my phone and 12 inch screen and I tried different cables what’s going on fca ? Very frustrating

Have you updated iOS lately? It may have changed your phone's CarPlay settings.

Try plugging in your cable first and then your phone.

Do you have "Allow carplay when locked" set on your phone? Also, there is a setting to turn on and off 'screen mirror" or something similar in the truck that essentially allows the truck to communicate with the desired device automatically or only when prompted. Can you go into the UConnect apps and select carplay manually?

If you've tried the above, you need a new usb hub. Known issue. I racked my brains for months. Replaced it. Zero issues now. Life is good

As said above, go to Settings, pull down and type CarPlay into the search bar. Go to UConnect and make sure Allow CarPlay When Locked is active.
