I think my 4wd actuator is bad. However, I can't find a Dorman replacement. It gives me one that is not even close to looking like mine. I even searched on the OEM sites and they say that number is not found. I know the 48-11 is the transfer case number. The only place I can find it is on EBay but I really don't want a used one.
Can anyone help?

I ordered this and am about to do the swap, but realized it didn't come with a gasket. One needed?

Nope, just a quick change out. Be sure to spray out the truck side electrical connector with electrical contact cleaner.

That's not the actuator, it's the transfer case motor. I'm looking for the same part 48-11-646-004-A. I replaced the actuator and it did not fix my problem so now I'm looking for the transfer case motor. My symptom is when trying to shift to 4wd I get a message on the dash that states "4WD Shift Not Completed Retry Shift". Been trying to figure this out for over 2-weeks. You can hear the transfer case motor clicking and trying, but nothing happens. Stuck in 2wd so I can still drive it, but winter is here and I need 4wd. 2019 Ram Laramie 5.7 eTorque.
Original poster Bob Tucker, did you ever figure it out?
