With all of the ridiculous delays, how many folks have just said screw it and walk away to a different truck? What did you buy? Im at at almost 6 months and neither the dealership nor FCA can /will provide a delivery date.
If it's stuck at the yard the issue is your dealer, not RAM .Message was sent titled:
Gia: Truck stuck at the yard
I feel for ya! I went through this when I ordered a ‘22 Ram 1500 (current truck). Ordered early August, finally built mid November. Shipped to a yard early December to await delivery to dealership, which the salesman checked and told me they should have it within 2 weeks. Hah, I didn’t get it till the 3rd week of January ‘23! About 5 1/2 months total from order to ownership. In fact I was reading on forums that guys were taking delivery of ‘23s while I was still waiting. With all of the ridiculous delays, how many folks have just said screw it and walk away to a different truck? Sorry that's not true. We do not control which vehicles get delivered from the railyards to dealership on which day. There would be no benefit to us delaying, if we could. If it's stuck at the yard the issue is your dealer, not RAM .
When I bought my Built to Serve in 2020, the dealer I bought it from somehow got the truck expedited from the rail yard. I was talking to two different dealers, both said it could take a couple weeks to get the trucks delivered from rail yardz as both trucks were sitting there. But the one was able to get mine in like two days. Like I said, not sure what strings they pulled to get it delivered, but they were able to make it happen. They are the local dealer with highest sales for Ram though, so that might have had something to do with it.Sorry that's not true. As of yesterday we had 19 customer orders sitting at the last railyard, it would be much to our benefit to have a guaranteed sale delivered ASAP rather than a stock vehicle that doesn't have a buyer yet.
For reference out of 174 active factory orders we have in the system, 12 are older than 90 days, 6 over 120, and 3 over 180. Not a widespread issue currently, but there are always outliers.
That being said, significantly frustrating to be an outlier - data doesn't change that!
Hi Anthony, as I said above my truck sat at the rail yard for about 6-7 weeks. It was only about 65 miles away. I asked about just going to pick it up and I was told that can’t be done. So I waited.Sorry that's not true. We do not control which vehicles get delivered from the railyards to dealership on which day. There would be no benefit to us delaying, if we could.

I love the price watch most sites have now. I probably set four or five depending on what's available. It's how I got my '25. I had several makes and models set up, but I was driving across town when the alert popped up from the Ram dealer. My '21 never made it home.
It was just the dealer websites individually. What site were you using that sent that alert?
We will follow up with you shortly!Message was sent titled:
