I'm thinking maybe just the floor lighting. It's just so dark lolYes technically you can, but to me it seems like quite a lot of work. It’s something I really want to do but I just don’t think it’s worth it
I installed a set of 12$ RGB strip lights under my dash and under the rear of the front seats. Puts off a lot of light at night and looks real good. Relatively easy to do.I'm thinking maybe just the floor lighting. It's just so dark lol
Do they go on automatigicaly when the factory interior lights go on?I installed a set of 12$ RGB strip lights under my dash and under the rear of the front seats. Puts off a lot of light at night and looks real good. Relatively easy to do.
I tied the power wire for the lights into my headlight switch. So whenever the headlights are on, the lights come on. I can also turn them off manually with the remote / switch if I don't want them on at night. But I have mine set to blue which I think looks real good at night.Do they go on automatigicaly when the factory interior lights go on?
or does the remote mess that up?
The linked lights are now $21. i just ordered a set.I installed a set of 12$ RGB strip lights under my dash and under the rear of the front seats. Puts off a lot of light at night and looks real good. Relatively easy to do.
There is a 40% off coupon on there. At least for Prime members it shows up. Either way, 20$ is a good deal for the kit. I like them. The linked lights are now $21. i just ordered a set.
Ya, my BTS has them too. I just wanted blue lights but didn't want to pay the $200 for that kit that you can change out the factory LEDs for the blue LEDs. $12 and an hour or two of my time achieved the same results.Im surprised there isn't anything already there. I never really paid attention to it but I believe my 21 BTS already has a light under the dash in each foot well that comes on when the headlights are on. It's only a dim or soft white so it's not distracting while driving but it's enough to see the floor.
