Has anyone come up with a shorter headrest that allows wearing a cowboy hat? Taking the headrest off just to wear my Stetson while driving isn't quite the safest option.

Has anyone come up with a shorter headrest that allows wearing a cowboy hat? Taking the headrest off just to wear my Stetson while driving isn't quite the safest option.

I sometimes wear my Stetson (Gus) while driving, but usually just set it in the passenger seat. When I do have it on, I set the headrest all the way back but I still can’t lean my head back too far, or the hat hits the headrest. So I’d also be interested if there is a solution to this problem.

Old thread, couldn't find anything more recent

Haven't purchased so I don't know how these treat the brim
I am leaning toward the headliner version since I have 2 kids and will be using the backseat regularly
