So I live in the south, and as of lately my truck has been making a horrible noise when applying my breaks in the morning before leaving to work. The truck sits on a concrete slab away from any “real moisture” but when backing up to the road the truck begins to make a gridding noise. Kinda like.... when your breaks have no padding (squeaking noise). After driving it the noise goes away but it’s horrible right before take off. Anyone else had this happen? Any advise before taking the truck to the dealership.

At first I thought you broke something and heard a noise. This is common on some brakes. It just depends on the material. Once the brakes heat up, it goes away or should.

Hi Mark,

I'm also looking for some help here, I've been experiencing the same issue!

It’s sad to hear that. It’s 2020 and I should not have this issues. I hope someone else has had a solution to this problem
